About Attorney Stone

Mission.

I represent people when their futures are at stake. It is my mission to provide the best possible defense for people facing criminal charges. That defense shall be aimed at obtaining the most advantageous outcome for each and every case according to the needs, wishes, and goals of the client.

I specialize in representing individuals and companies confronting the unlimited power of the government and law enforcement in criminal defense matters and in civil lawsuits (which are often related to criminal matters). I am dedicated to assisting those in the darkest hour of their lives, facing the possibility of losing family, fortune, freedom, or even life itself.

I aggressively defend my clients with integrity, compassion, and expertise. I will never forget that my clients are people. They have unique backgrounds, needs, and aspirations.

I limit my caseload so I can give each client the best of my creativity and energy. I build a team for each case, calling upon private investigators and forensic experts (criminalists, photographers, engineers, physicians, and psychiatrists to name just a few). My client is the most important member of the team.

I believe that people are our country’s most significant asset. This nation cannot afford to waste the future of a single child or adult.

You have our team on your side.

We aggressively defend our clients with integrity, compassion, and expertise. We know our clients are people with unique backgrounds, needs, and aspirations. It is our goal to defend each person as an individual, not just as another case. We intentionally limit our caseload so we can give each client the best of our creativity and energy. In turn, your priorities and concerns inspire our objectives and strategies in defending you.

We assemble a tenacious and talented team to fight for you. In addition to our staff, we use experienced, skilled investigators with whom we have developed strong and trusting relationships. If the case calls for it, we engage scientists, doctors, and engineers to challenge the government’s evidence.

We are your relentless advocate. We never assume that the police, FBI, or other government agency got it right. We do our own investigation and often find the witness or evidence that the government “missed,” or didn’t want to find—the one that wins the case for our client.

We know that alcohol, drugs, and mental illness play a role in the lives of many people who are accused of crimes. That does not mean they are guilty. We have experience and expertise in representing people who suffer from addiction and mental illness. The government may not understand—but we do, and that makes all the difference.

We represent clients in and from these and other counties, towns and cities:
